The Da Vinci Code : A Pulse Quickening Adventure
"Life is filled with secrets; you can't learn them at once."
I just completed reading Da Vinci Code , and I couldn't stop myself from writing an entry on the same, and about a confession I have to admit tonight. Da Vinci Code is a freaky book, certainly the best mystery novel of all those I've read before. Besides letting me experience a pulse-quickening and brain-teasing adventure, it forced me to frantically search the topics related to the book - The Holy Grail, Knight Templars, Mary Magdalene, Louvre Museum, the paintings of Leonardo Da Vinci, and many more.
The book starts with facts page where Dan Brown states,
"All descriptions of artwork, architecture, documents and secret rituals in this novel are accurate.”
While checking the Opus Dei's website and their response to The Da Vinci Code at http://www.opusdei.org, I read,
"Many readers are intrigued by the claims about Christian history and theology presented in The Da Vinci Code. We would like to remind them that The Da Vinci Code is a work of fiction, and it is not a reliable source of information on these matters."
And then about The Last Supper, Mary Magdalene, etc - I was still searching and had no clue. Meanwhile, when I was at a friend's residence this afternoon I found a strange PDF document which had contents like "How much content of Da Vinci Code is fiction and how much of it is truth?" I don't have it in my PC though, but I'll certainly bring it tomorrow from my friend's residence.
I finally wanted to see how Louvre Museum situated in Paris looked like, the interiors and the Pyramid at the entrance as described in the book in the starting pages. For those, unlucky like me who haven't visited Louvre and want to get a feel of how it looks like, after having experienced Da Vinci Code here's the link of the set of images I found on the internet. It contains The Mona Lisa, The Last Supper, and everything that's related to Louvre, in the Louvre and Da Vinci Code.

The pics are awesome, and I'd love to see Louvre and the art there some day. [And so I'm thinking to opt for taking French as the foreign language training in the ILP at TCS next year. hehe..]
And then about the movie on Da Vinci code that would star Tom Hanks as Robert Langdon. More about the movie can be checked out at:

With regulars batch started at full speed I need to be fast at solving the material given to us, I'll see to it tomorrow, and also a new novel, only if I ever get a chance to go to Indore tomorrow.
PS: I regret for having said something inappropriate to someone like me, at the end it was me feeling insulted for what I've said. [12?] I'm such a jerk.
"Forgiveness is the God's greatest gift", they say. Forgive me.
C ya.
